Beyond these walls

It’s easy to forget the basics. The simple rules: Be nice. Be kind. Be helpful. Don’t forget where you come from. Treat others the way you want to be treated. If the house in which you live is made of glass, don’t throw stones.

You see, we tend to build walls -literal and metaphorical- as a means of privacy and protection. But if we’re not careful, those walls can also easily cause isolation. While walls preserve and protect, they also separate and limit. And to what end do we want to create limits? Are there limitations to our limits?
